Step 2 Create your Voicethread

1. Find one relevant historical photo of interest or a document interesting to what you teach from either Calisphere or Google's Life image archive
   
2. Copy and paste the image url to your Voicethread account.
   
3. Research some background information about the image you choose.
   
4. Primary source analysis with Voicethread. Record a comment, write a comment, and bonus for making a video comment. Use some or all of these prompts below:
   
   • Content: Describe what you see
     
   • Citation: When or who created
     
   • Context: What else is going on in the world or locality when this document was created?
     
   • Connections: Prior knowledge, link the document to something you already know about.
     
   • Communication: Point of view or bisas, is the source reliable?
     
   • Conclusion: How does this document contribute to our understanding of history?
