CTAP Region IV strives to improve student learning by facilitating collaboration among existing projects and services and promoting the development of regional structures to support the use of educational technology. CTAP funding provides an opportunity for Region IV schools, businesses, universities, and communities to work together in order to benefit our K-12 students.

Major Roles and Responsibilities

  • provide regional leadership in integrating educational technology
  • originate staff development programs that build capacity in the region and meet the needs of teachers and students
  • support educators with the technical aspects of using technology
  • provide educators with the learning resources they need to effectively integrate technology into the curriculum
  • facilitate the use of a regional telecommunications in schools.
  • assist schools in garnering funds to support the use of educational technology
  • build partnerships with business and the community to leverage resources and increase funding and assistance to schools
