Big Changes for 08-09 EETT Formula PDF Print E-mail

With the release of the new RFA for EETT Formula grants, new changes in the ways funds are distributed are most striking. The following is from page 6 of the 08-09 EETT Formula RFA:

Effective for this grant award, CDE will no longer advance 85 percent of the award. EETT Formula Grant awards will be fully paid on a reimbursement basis upon the receipt and approval of an EOP Report, certifying that 100 percent of the funds were expended in accordance with the grant requirements.

To minimize the impact of this change, the EOP Reports will be accepted at any time after the grant awards have been fully expended, but no later than September 3, 2010. Upon CDE approval of your EOP Report, reimbursements will be accumulated and processed on a monthly basis. To obtain the EOP report, the LEA must join our listserv. Clarification for this change has been explained on the CDE website with a letter from the CDE: http://www.cde.ca.gov/ls/et/ft/eettfcltr.asp. Although this change is required by the legislative analyst, the adjustment will impact districts with force. Plan accordingly and consult your CTAP County Specialist if you need assitance.
