Revised EETT-C Round 8 RFA Posted! PDF Print E-mail

The California Department of Education  recently posted additional
information about Round 8 of the Enhancing Education Through Technology competitive grant (EETT-C), including a REVISED RFA (request for application) and the eligibility list at its EETT-C website.  Application are due on July 30, 2009 at 5:00 PM.

The primary goal of the competitive EETT program is to provide funding for
grades 4-8 to assist eligible districts and schools to utilize technology to
enhance teaching and to promote learning. EETT competitive grants will make
$300 per student available to support technology in schools. If an
individual school has received full EETT Competitive funding in any prior
year, that school may not be funded in Round 8.

CTAP Region IV hosted informational meetings on April 1 and 3 at Contra Costa, Alameda, and San Mateo COEs for districts and direct-funded charter schools that may be eligible in Round 8.  Once the eligibility list and the RFA was posted, CTAP 4 contact all districts and charter school that are eligible in round 8. The application due date is July 30, 2009.

An additional support workshop is scheduled for June 17, 2009 at the Alameda County Office of Education. Registration required: Click here to register.
