| SOS For Purchasing a New SIS |

Friday, December 12, 2008 Many Bay Area districts will be purchasing a new student information system (SIS) within the next two years. CTAP Region IV will host two events to make the process as painless as possible. Put the dates on your calendar and pass on this information to others in your district who should attend these events. Learn how to conduct a needs assessment and determine the features essential to your schools, and create a Request For Proposal (RFP) that clearly communicates district needs to potential vendors. This workshop will guide district leaders through a three-step process to make purchasing and implementing a new SIS system as painless as possible.
